For this project, we were asked to create our own company and company branding. I chose to create a delivery service called “Party Pack” that provides everything you need to plan a birthday party with a simple click of a button. Party Pack allows you to customize the party of your choice from the convenience of your home. From streamers to themed party decorations to goodie bags, Party Pack has all you need for an effortless and successful birthday party delivered right to your doorstep.
Party Pack’s mission is to provide an affordable and convenient way to celebrate a child’s birthday party. Every child deserves to celebrate their birthday without parents and guardians having to worry about money being an issue. With Party Pack, the stress of planning a birthday party is gone.
Process/Ideation
I started brainstorming by sketching common birthday party items to try and find something that might work successfully as a logo. As I began to draw, I narrowed my ideas down to a more focused concept, incorporating more variations to showcase that it is a delivery service and not just a birthday party company.
Color
I first began exploring the Toys “R” Us color palette because it had the fun, playful, and affordable feel that I was going for. After testing out a variety of different colors, I settled on a shade of red that is a playful color, reminiscent of childhood while also indicating a fast delivery. The single-toned color palette provides a sense of efficiency and simplicity.
Digital Exploration
As I began rendering my sketches, I decided to go with a delivery truck that is in the shape of a birthday gift. This idea combined both a birthday party and delivery service in the most successful way.
Typographic Study
I picked the typeface “Chaloops” which captures the playfulness of a birthday party. Designed in 2008 by Chank Diesel, this typeface is used to capture humor, boldness, and personality.
Final Logo
